We are delighted to say that Jeoffrey Mukubi, performance artist, writer and art & culture critic, is part of the Namibia Arts Fair organizing team!
Jeoffrey (or Jeff as he's known by his friends) is a staunch advocate for the arts and has been instrumental in helping the Arts Fair reach a larger audience. He encourages us to engage with local art stakeholders and to be innovative in our creative experiences. Jeoffrey is currently an arts & lifestyle writer for the Confidente newspaper.
He believes that art reflects cultural values, beliefs and identity and helps to preserve the many different communities that make up our world. Art chronicles our own lives and experiences over time, and that we need art to understand our shared and lived experiences, not only for the artist, but for the community at large.

About Jeoffrey:
Jeoffrey Mukubi is a 24 year old Windhoek native. His journalistic career started
when he was appointed as an online coordinator at Desert Soul Namibia in 2014 and he was in charge of producing factsheets for newspapers and the website. In 2015, he was doing his third year in Media Studies at the College of the Arts Namibia and got the opportunity to intern at National Radio, at the Namibian Broadcasting Cooperation. In 2016, he joined Base FM in Katutura as a radio journalist and news anchor/presenter for the current affairs program, which aired every weekday between 12h00 and14h00. In April 2017, he joined the Confidente Newspaper as an Entertainment Reporter.
Jeoffrey enjoys working as an entertainment journalist, because he is also an entertainer. He sings and plays the guitar under the alias Jeff A.D, where he is a Neo Soul musician. He is also an events manager and the co-founder of the Kalahari International Festival of Arts (KIFA). He am also an artist representative and administrator and promoter. He is currently representing two musicians, one photographer and two videographers. Jeoffrey also works in script writing, content development and a creative directing.
