The Namibia Arts Fair will be hosting a lyrical panel discussion called the Art of RAW: Rap, Art and Word Weaving . The discussion will feature 4 Namibian Hiphop artists, speaking on word-weaving and the art of rap. One of our featured hip-hop artists is Namibian MC, TenderHeart. Artist Interview with Miss H

This weekend we had a meeting with Heather Dennis, commonly known as Miss H, front man for the Fate of Miss H, and a very well known multidisciplinary artist in Namibia. We sat down with her to find out her perspective on the current art industry and where she sees it expanding to in terms of her artistic expression. Catch Miss H live at the Namibia Arts Fair! What is your artistic background? I am an actor, singer, dancer, recently comedian, I've done theatre work and stage work, both on and off stage, and basically art. What does your work try to say? That you can be whatever you want to be and you can be as free as you want to be in your expression of yourself. Who are your biggest influences? We are delighted to say that Jeoffrey Mukubi, performance artist, writer and art & culture critic, is part of the Namibia Arts Fair organizing team!  Jeoffrey (or Jeff as he's known by his friends) is a staunch advocate for the arts and has been instrumental in helping the Arts Fair reach a larger audience. He encourages us to engage with local art stakeholders and to be innovative in our creative experiences. Jeoffrey is currently an arts & lifestyle writer for the Confidente newspaper. He believes that art reflects cultural values, beliefs and identity and helps to preserve the many different communities that make up our world.
