When is the Art Fair open?

Do I need a ticket?
Entrance is N$30 before the 28th of July, through purchase on the PayToday app, the Today website or through the Airtime city kiosks. Tickets will be N$40 at the gate. Entry is free for children 0-15 (with an accompanying adult) and pensioners. You can purchase your event tickets here.

How do I get there?
The Art Fair takes place at the Goethe-Institut, 5 Fidel Castro Street, Windhoek
By car: We have limited parking available, however parking is available across the street on Luderitz Street and at the Christuskirke up the hill, and there is public parking available at 1990 Freedom Plaza next to Hilton. Please use public transport where possible. Will there be anything for the children to do?
There certainly is! Come see our kid zone, with 4 free family activities to look forward to as well as the food market and live performances, with Miss H as the headline performance at 4:00pm. We will also be screening Namibian films for free in the indoor gallery. Food and snacks for the kids will be available as well.

How long should I spend at the Art Fair?
As long as you wish! We recommend that it takes 2 hours to explore the whole of the Art Fair (don't worry, that includes a tea break too!). Don't have much time? Take a look at the exhibiting artists, circle your favourites and visit them. A member of staff can point you in the right direction, if you need a hand.

Yes, we have a variety of food vendors, offering both local and international cuisines.

I'm in a wheelchair, will I be able to see the exhibits?
Yes, of course. There is wheelchair-friendly access to both the indoor and outdoor galleries, so there's plenty to see.

Can I pay by card at the Art Fair?
Unfortunately no, please bring cash! We will be offering use of the PayToday app for any of your art purchases, however food vendors will only be accepting cash.

How can I support the Art Fair?
As an up and coming art fair, we are very grateful for any support we receive. There will be a donation station available at the payment booth. Recommended donation is N$50, which will go a long way to helping fund the show and supporting our artists. |
